Design & Build
When you Design and Build with us you will save time, money and stress. Design and Building with us is an effective approach.
This approach provides a unique collaboration between the client, architect and contractor, that enables us to participate in the early stages of the design and manage its development. The benefits lie in the continuity and consistency that comes from working directly with the client and architect from the outset.
We start the process by understanding what type of home you want and what you would like to invest, then we take care of everything – from the house design, engineering, building surveyor and council approvals.
Design and Build can be applied to new builds, commercial or residential, renovation or fit-out projects. This approach assures informed decisions about staging, constructability and evaluation of alternative design solutions, to assure timely and successful completion of the project.
At Lera Group, our Design and Building Process is Simple, We Listen.

At our first meeting we discuss the things to consider when you are planning to design and build your new home.
We discuss your building site, the style of home you are trying to achieve, and establish a budget. All of the answers help us paint a picture of what your dream home will look like. Building your dream home isn’t just a financial investment it’s also an emotional investment.
We ask lots of questions about what you want, and how you and your family live your life to assist with the layout and functionality of your new home.
Following on from our initial meeting, we will develop a design brief and proposal. This will be based upon your decision to custom design a home, select one of our house designs or supply your own house plans. We will then provide you with a proposal that will contain a scope of works with benchmark pricing.
Once the proposal is reviewed, signed and accepted, we then progress through to;
- Finalising the building documentation and plans
- Finalising the inclusions and costings
- Then scheduling the construction time frame and completion dates
